TurfMutt Celebrates Rescue Pups on National Mutt Day (and beyond!)

July 31 is National Mutt Day, but the TurfMutt Foundation is a big fan and supporter of mutts year-round. After all, the inspiration for the TurfMutt Foundation was a rescue dog named Lucky who was adopted by Foundation President Kris Kiser. Mulligan is the current spokesdog for the TurfMutt Foundation. Rescued by the Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) and adopted by Kris at TurfMutt’s Mutt Madness adoption event at Equip Exposition, Mulligan continues the legacy of Lucky the TurfMutt.

Each year, the TurfMutt Foundation hosts Mutt Madness at Equip Expo. It’s a chance for the folks who create the yards we enjoy to find a furry friend who loves backyards more than anyone else.
